Medical LED is a non-invasive therapy that harnesses the therapeutic power of light for stimulating the body’s natural processes. It counters the effects of sun damage, acne prone skin, and a variety of other skin conditions.
Medical LED is a safe therapy and does not produce thermal reactions which makes this a very comfortable and pleasant treatment and is suitable for all skin types and tones.
As the LEDs use high light energies to stimulate your skin, our cosmetic practitioner will take all safety precautions to protect your eyes during the light therapy. Your safety is our priority.
Our Medical LED device has 21 built-in programs with large adjustable wavelength heads that can treat a wide range of dermatological conditions effectively using the following specific light colours
Blue – Anti-acne, prevent active acne breakouts and clear skin congestion
Green – Minimise sun damage, redness and pigmentation, and aids in calming and desensitising the skin
Yellow – Tightens and tones, detoxifies and stimulates the sensory motor nervous system.
Red – Anti-ageing, stimulates collagen, reduces fine lines, scar reduction and, rejuvenates skin
By customising the Medical LED light wavelengths, our cosmetic practitioner can tailor a treatment plan to suit your skin needs.
The procedure starts with skin assessment by our cosmetic practitioner to choose the right LED colour for your treatment or in some cases, you may need a combination of light colours.
Prior to the procedure, your skin will be thoroughly cleansed to remove makeup and skin moisturisers followed by toning. You will be given eye shields to protect your eyes.
During the procedure, you may feel a gentle warmth on the skin. The treatment ends with the application of our professional skin care to rejuvenate your skin, leaving a more glowing, dewy appearance.
There are no special aftercare requirements and no downtime. Immediately after the treatment, you can go back to your normal routine.
